There needs to be much more attention given to the growing number of kids who are finding themselves on sex offenders registers for life. A bit of "playing doctor' can destroy a kid's prospects for the rest of his/her life. Perhaps you may want to look into this. There are kids as young as 10 on the SOR's complete with all the details of their address etc. Push it into the mainstream press, please. Ratification of this Charter would immediately prevent such injustices as kids being charged and tried as adults, being placed on SOR's and having childhood crimes follow them forever into adulthood. Then there is the other, much more common forms of child abuse that never get mentioned. Physical abuse, emotional abuse and neglect, almost always perpetrated on the child by his/her own parents.
