Hi Neil Baker. I enjoyed Duncan and Blake, too and it is too bad they were never able to connect with others experienced in surviving scientology's harassment tactics. I'm a former longtime member, too, though I use a pseudynom. I have a blog where I discuss these 2 people and scientology.
http://free-from-scientology.blogspot.com
To read those, just put their last names in the search box at the top of the home page. I'd be interested in your thoughts on what you think happened to them.

My email address is formerlyfooled at yahoo dot com

Like others, I can't look away. I never heard of them before I chanced upon the Vanity Fair article that immediately caught my eye and went to the Internet for more info. I suppose the enviable beauty of them both, imminent commercial success if they'd just kept going and the lifestyle most can only dream about captivates me.

I can easily imagine them acquiring the same level of fame and success as Jeanne-Claude and Christo. I read the entire blog of Theresa and saved many of her photos to my pictures folder. I wish I could have met them both and I wonder if our paths may have ever crossed while I lived near L.A.

Having been kicked out of Scientology back in the 80's, I think I may have been able to help them with their raging paranoia concerning that group. Something doesn't sit right in the story and you just can't help thinking there's more to it than a suicide followed by another but, sadly, the truth will never be known. Damn, this World keeps losing and suppressing it's best while promoting the worst.

Recounted, that whole chunk of her life seems confused. It must have been even more confusing when living it.
