I looked at the Sizzler photo at the bottom of the article and thought, “That sure looks like the Sizzler in Auburn, CA (junction of Hwys 80 & CA 49), and OMG, it WAS!

I worked Sizzler for 10 years and have great stories.
Unfortunately both of the Sizzlers I worked at are gone.
I still have my SIZZLER gold nugget ring and tons of Sizzler name tags.

I would normally find their project shit but my early memories of Sizzler in Riverside County totally back with theres = its the first place I had shrimp – its the first place as a little 7 year old kid I felt I had choice over my diet, that I had all these diet options that were exotic at the time – I soon learned different but it was still a minor mindfuck for seven year old me…

This has more or less been done. Not all an original idea

As a reporter in the mid-80’s I interviewed a visual artist who was photographing himself eating every meal at McDonalds, a new restaurant every meal, three meals a day for a year. It amounted to more than 1,000 photos from an equal number of McD across the country. He created a huge visual mural from the photos.
