It’s bad enough that everything out of today’s Hollywood omits the existence of politically incorrect facts, such as that people smoke. The least they can do is show us yesterday’s works uncensored, the way they were made.

I’m very unimpressed with today’s Hollywood anyhow: it seems like two-thirds of its output is remakes of old movies that were twice as good as the remakes.

“Charlie Brown’s All Stars” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” (second and third Peanuts specials) also originally had extended opening titles to accommodate Coca-Cola logos. Their subsequent editing also cut into Vince Guaraldi’s music.
